Job Description

Allstaff Manufacturing Division requires an experienced Production Manager for our global manufacturing client based Paisley.

Managing the end to end process, the role is to ensure the safe and operational efficiencies of day to day production with optimum performance, achieving KPI’s, fulfilling customer demands whilst ensuring processes and compliances are met. You will also look after continuous Improvement projects.

The suitable candidate should have a manufacturing background and have worked in a similar role for 5years +

The role:
  • Responsible for the safe and efficient running of operations, equipment, and personnel for all functions across the production lines.
  • Embed an H&S culture of zero tolerance ensuring the policy is fully understood, owned and implemented by every individual
  • Accountable for managing the day-to-day business processes and demands, ensuring the manufacturing functions are running smoothly
  • Overseeing cells and allocated workforce across the plant
  • Manage the actions identified through internal and external audits (including health & safety and quality inspections) and ensure they are completed in a timely manner
  • To support the Manager to develop an operations excellence and continuous improvement attitude within the business
  • Responsible for the delivery of performance measure targets (KPI’s) across Safety, Quality, Delivery and Productivity
  • Ensure your teams always operate in line with the company’s Health and Safety Policy
  • Accountable for driving the total cost of non-conformance down for the leather cut value streams
  • Controlling and managing Key Performance metrics (KPI’s), to ensure the business meets the challenging production/output goals, in terms of quality, cost and on-time delivery
